Vacancy for RF Design/Development Engineer.

Based at Vectawave’s purpose built factory on the Isle of Wight, the company offers an exciting job opportunity for a suitably qualified and/or experienced RF Design/Development Engineer.

Working in the company’s well equipped engineering department as part of the design team, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing 10kHz -18GHz broadband RF amplifier products for global markets. Vectawave is active in EMC, particle physics and communications sectors.

In addition to design capability, the candidate will require a high degree of manual dexterity along with skills, including electronic assembly, light engineering and the use of RF and microwave test equipment.

AutoCAD skills would be an advantage.

Applicants should, as a minimum, have a degree or HND in either electronic engineering or microwave physics.

Applications are sought from engineers with relevant experience as well as new graduates. Training will be provided for new graduates or those with limited experience, but note that applicants must be able to demonstrate aptitude in network theory and a knowledge of electronic design.
